| Announcement Dear Value Customers Bank Indonesia Regulation Number: 10/33/PBI/2008 dated 25 November 2008 concerning Revocation and Withdrawal from circulation of the year 1998 issue of notes in the Rp. 10.000 (Ten thousand) denomination, the year 1998 issue of notes Rp. 20.000 (Twenty Thousand) denomination, the year 1999 issue of notes Rp. 50.000 (Fifty Thousand) denomination, and the year 1999 issue of notes Rp. 100.000 (One Hundred Thousand) denomination. Bank Indonesia has revoked and withdrawn Rupiah currency from circulation consisting of: 1. 10.000 (Ten Thousand) Rupiah legally issued on 1998 Front Side Main Picture : Tjut Njak Dhien Back Side Main Picture : Segara Anak, Lombok 2. 20.000 (Twenty Thousand) Rupiah Year 1998 Front Side Main Picture : Ki Hajar Dewantara Back Side Main Picture : Learning Activities 3. 50.000 (Fifty Thousand) Rupiah Year 1999 Front Side Main Picture : W.R. Supratman Back Side Main Picture : Flag Displays 4. 100.000 (One Hundred Thousand)Rupiah Year 1999 Front Side Main Picture : Soekarno - Hatta Back Side Main Picture : Building of The People’s Consultative Assembly – The House of Representative of the Republic of Indonesia The rupiah currency revoked and withdrawn from circulation is declared no longer be valid as legal tender starting from 31 December 2008. The period and location of exchange of rupiah currency revoked and withdrawn from circulation is as followed: Periode Place 31 December 2008 – 30 December 2013 Bank Indonesia and/or Commercial Bank 31 December 2013 – 30 December 2018 Bank Indonesia The right to claim the exchange of rupiah currency revoked and withdrawn from circulation shall no longer be valid after 10 (ten) years starting from the date of revocation or 31 December 2018.
